Hi Vanessa, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Thank you for sharing your story. It brought new perspective into my own relationship with my mom - which has been rocky to say the least. She is 76, and you have made me think that I better go and have the honest chat asap. I hope you feel supported and loved during this time of grief and integration of what you have learned. Wishing you peace, Yetzi
Thank you for your kind words. I’m glad that my writing has inspired you to have your own conversation with your mother. May it be healing for you both.
What a gift you've given your readers by sharing this truly liminal experience! I knew many of these thoughts and feelings during my mother's passing fourteen years ago, but never took the time to write them down. To have your words now is really a treasure. And you've spoken the advice I need to hear too: "In the end, the physical pain is life’s rude awakening and smack beside the head to how we’ve disrespected its gifts." So true. May we strive to be mindful of those gifts in each and every moment. Thank you.
Peace and Blessings to you Vanessa. Your gift of words does tell a lovely story of life in relationship, and I look forward to future readings. ❤️ Pauly
Thank you Vanessa for sharing your tender and burst open heart. Your sharing has deeply touched me for the loves and losses we endure on this earth journey. You have a beautiful gift with being raw and real - a trait gifted from both your parents - I am sure. May heaven hold you - bringing peace and solace as you need it. Much Love, Kerry
What an absolutely stunning, blazing chronicle of this liminal time, Vanessa. There's so much strength and fortifying humor and wisdom in your words. They have helped me in a difficult time of my own. You are a weaver of wisdom, defiant humor, and radiant 'fluff' (private joke; you'll remember hopefully)
Wisdom knows where to find you, my friend. Love, Jacob
Thank you so much my friend. You own journey into the liminal spaces have also inspired and given me hope. And yes, I'll always believe in the healing power of fluff, which will be written on my gravestone! Much gratitude for your friend all of these years!
